ReasonStone was built for people who want to know what they invest in and why, but don't want to spend every free hour hunting for data and working through financial statements. We help value investors get material they can understand — and base their own decisions on.
ReasonStone is the two of us, Michal Viták and Jan Vaníček. We are friends and partners with a shared interest in investing. In the Czech market we missed a tool that would make investment analysis easier and at the same time show openly what its conclusions rest on. So we decided to build our own.
ReasonStone combines a specialised investing chatbot with a smart watchlist that keeps an eye on the stocks you pick. We are building it for people who want to understand the companies behind their investments — whether they are just starting out or already run a portfolio of their own.
A convincing answer alone is not enough for us. The model has to ground its conclusions in verifiable numbers. We care about traceable sources, calculations you can follow and assumptions you can see. We want you to be able to judge not just the result of an analysis, but also the way it came about. And where the information falls short, “I don't know” is a more honest answer to us than pretended certainty.
Our goal is not to decide for you. We want to save you the work of the analysis and help you understand what you are basing your decision on.
